Romanian Contemporary Art on the International Stage

Jecza Gallery continues to expand the international visibility of Romanian contemporary art through a series of major institutional acquisitions in the United States. Following the gallery's participation at Paris Photo 2024, three photographic works by Iosif Király and Aurora Király entered the collection of The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, while works by Roman Cotoșman and Peter Jecza were acquired by Another Space in New York and The Allen Memorial Art Museum in Ohio. Featured by Știri din România, these acquisitions mark a significant milestone for both the represented artists and the gallery, reaffirming Jecza Gallery's long-term commitment to placing Romanian contemporary art within leading international museum collections and fostering its global recognition.
