Jecza Gallery celebrates a series of landmark international acquisitions that reinforce the global visibility of Romanian contemporary art. Three vintage photographic collages by Iosif Király, created between 1986 and 1990, have entered the collection of The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York after being selected by Roxana Marcoci, Acting Chief Curator of Photography, during Paris Photo 2024. At the same time, a work by Roman Cotoșman was acquired by Another Space – Daniel and Estrellita B. Brodsky Family Foundation in New York, while sculptures by Peter Jecza entered an important American collection. Featured by Ziarul Timișoara, these acquisitions mark a significant milestone for the gallery and its artists, reflecting Jecza Gallery's sustained commitment to advancing Romanian contemporary art through long-term international partnerships and museum recognition.
