Iosif Király's Works Enter MoMA's Collection

Three photographic collages by Iosif Király, represented by Jecza Gallery, have entered the collection of The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York following the gallery's participation in Paris Photo 2024.

Three vintage photographic collages by Iosif Király, created between 1986 and 1990 and presented by Jecza Gallery at Paris Photo 2024, have been acquired by The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Selected by Roxana Marcoci, Acting Chief Curator of Photography at MoMA, the acquisition recognizes Király's enduring contribution to European conceptual photography and marks a significant milestone in the international trajectory of both the artist and Jecza Gallery. Featured by Ovidiu Mureșanu, the article also highlights the gallery's broader international achievements, including institutional acquisitions of works by Roman Cotoșman and Peter Jecza, underscoring Jecza Gallery's continued commitment to advancing Romanian contemporary art on the global stage.
