King Charles III's House Becomes Home to Constantin Flondor's Garden Empire

A List Magazine spotlights Garden Empire, Constantin Flondor's solo exhibition at King Charles III's House in Viscri, presented as part of SIT 2025 – Sessions in Transylvania. Curated by Cosmin Florea and Irina Motroc, the exhibition spans more than five decades of the artist's practice, bringing together paintings, drawings, watercolours, pastels, mixed-media works, and experimental film. Organized in partnership with Jecza Gallery and the Mihai Eminescu Trust, Garden Empire continues the King's House exhibition programme while fostering a dialogue between contemporary art, the natural environment, and Transylvania's cultural heritage.
