Andrei Jecza spoke to ORF during the fair, where Jecza Gallery is presenting a solo presentation by Matei Emanuel as part of the Main Positions section.
Filmed inside the historic Astoria Garage, the report looks at a new art fair bringing together more than 80 galleries from across Europe and around 400 works by 120 artists.
Presenting a young Romanian artist at Astoria Artshow reflects a wider direction of Jecza Gallery’s programme: supporting emerging voices while building a consistent international presence through exhibitions, art fairs and collaborations across Europe.
It is particularly meaningful to take part in this first edition with a young Romanian artist, and to see Jecza Gallery included in the wider conversation around Vienna’s evolving art scene.
