DROPMUSE previews the first public presentation of the Trestieni Collection at Espace Intermédiaire in Brussels, running from 6 November to 6 December 2026. The exhibition brings together eleven works by Paul Neagu, Horia Damian and Constantin Flondor, offering a view into the Romanian neo-avant-garde.
Highlights include Skull (1973), a ceramic sculpture co-created by Paul Neagu and Merilyn Smith, alongside Neagu’s Wallachian Hyphen, Horia Damian’s La Cité (1984) and works from Constantin Flondor’s Sigma period. The presentation explores artistic approaches spanning sculpture, conceptual experimentation and optical investigation.
During Nocturnes du Sablon, from 26 to 29 November 2026, the gallery will host cultural activities bringing compositions by Romanian avant-garde composer Aurel Stroe into dialogue with the exhibited works. Stroe’s contribution forms part of the accompanying musical programme.
