Jecza Gallery Announces Representation of Radu Oreian

The gallery will present works by the artist this March at Art OnO Seoul, following RAD Art Fair in April
Jecza Gallery is pleased to announce the representation of artist Radu Oreian (b. 1984). The gallery will present the artist’s work at Art OnO Seoul and RAD Art Fair, as well as in the debut exhibition at Jecza & Olaru, Blue Eyes Don’t Lie.

At the core of Radu Oreian’s practice lies a sustained interest in image-making as a space of tension - between past and present, figuration and abstraction, narrative and fragmentation. His compositions create a visual density that oscillates between control and spontaneity, inviting a deeper reflection on the nature of painting itself.

Radu Oreian is also represented by 1969 Gallery (New York) and Eduardo Secci (Milan), where he has held several solo exhibitions. His work has also been presented at Gallery Nosco (Brussels, London) and Albertz Benda (Los Angeles), among others, and featured in institutional exhibitions such as Looking Anew and Beyond at the Taubman Museum of Art and Chasseur d’Images at the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in Paris. Some of his works are also part of important international collections, including the Taubman Collection (Roanoke), La Fondazione (Rome), and the Sandretto Collection (Milan).

Through this representation, Jecza Gallery continues to expand its program towards artists whose practices engage with the historical depth of image-making while remaining deeply anchored in contemporary visual language.
