We are happy to announce the opening of the exhibition Peter Jecza. On Path and Journey, hosted in the spaces of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oradea. The exhibition marks the fourth annual collaboration between the Jecza Foundation and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oradea and is part of the “Jecza Memory” program, initiated by the foundation following the artist’s passing, with the aim of continuing the research and promotion of his work. Curated by Sorina Jecza, the exhibition brings together 15 bronze sculptures from the family collection, alongside sketches, texts, and a large-scale photograph of the artist’s studio. Together, these elements trace the inner process of creation - from idea and reflection to sculptural form. The title “On Path and Journey” refers to the very nature of artistic practice: a continuous search, a movement between thought and form, between matter and spirit.
The opening will take place on Monday, March 16, at 18:00, in the exhibition halls located on the second floor of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oradea. The exhibition is organized by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oradea, in partnership with the Jecza Foundation, with the support of Jecza Gallery.
