Jecza Gallery joins the third edition of RAD Sculpture Park, presenting works by Peter Jecza, Florin Magda, and Bogdan Rața. RAD Sculpture Park 2025, opening tomorrow in the gardens of Caro Bucharest, brings together over 60 artists and 28 contemporary art galleries, offering a vivid experience of sculpture in open space. This year’s edition invites visitors to see difference not as a division, but as a source of richness and new meaning.
Bogdan Rața’s - The Crossing 2 (2023–2024), is a study of tension between body, image, and presence. Shaped from polyester, fibreglass, marble, aluminium, and metal, the work explores the fine line between physical form and memory, between surface and internal reflection. The work has been recently part of Bogdan Rața’s solo exhibited at Le Castelet contemporary art museum in Toulouse.
Peter Jecza’s - Ciocane (1973), belongs to a key moment of exploration at the beginning of the 1970s. Drawing on neo-constructivist ideas, Jecza used industrial ready-mades and structural precision to reshape functional objects into sculptural forms.
Florin Magda’s - Suzeta, proposes a reflection on memory and public space, through a familiar yet reinterpreted symbol, rooted in his ongoing dialogue with collective memory and urban materiality. Florin Magda is also last year’s winner of Peter Jecza sculpture of the year award.
The exhibition opens tomorrow, April 29 in the gardens of CARO, Bucharest, and remains on view until May 25. Entry is free, with guided tours available on weekends.
