The Picasso Effect is a groundbreaking exhibition. Not only will it reestablish high-level connections 55 years after the 1968 Picasso exhibition, but it will also serve as a model and resource for future generations of artists and their audiences, as well as for local and regional society and culture. The Picasso Effect at MARe/Recent Art Museum Bucharest will be the major cultural event of the decade. Conceived in collaboration with the Picasso Museum in Paris, and supported and sponsored by local institutions and corporations, the exhibition and related activities will mark a new level of social engagement in developing a modern audience and an innovative society, with a high standard of quality of life and superior cultural competences and aspirations.
