This textile drawing subversively questions the beginning of existence as formulated by the Judeo-Christian tradition. It boldly and imaginatively questions the genesis of humanity where the first couple was created in an idealized realm and from which they were later “cast out”. What would have happened if Adam and Eve had taken it upon themselves to make a heroic journey across the Earth, setting out blessedly on their journey? What would a lineage that knows not what guilt and shame are like, instead being creative and in harmony with Gaia?
