Laurian Popa (b. 1980)

Laurian Popa was born in 1980 in Arad, where he lives and works. He is a Romanian visual artist, licensed in Painting at the Faculty of Arts and Design in Timisoara, Prof. Constantin Flondor.

The combination of compositions, drawings and objects created by Laurian Popa, forms the image of a material figurative, bold but not familiar. A figurative that rather translates into reality an object with an unusual identity, a processing of remnants of objects gathered and recomposed into another dimension. With an obsolete identity, broken from the usual context, the image of the objects becomes an exercise of decryption, assimilation, and recontextualization: a signal of the decadence of an "arranged" but real space.

Blanca Amorós (b. 1990)

Blanca Amorós was born in Elche, Spain in 1990. From 2008 to 2013 she studied art at the Univ. Politécnica de Valencia, Spain and was recognized as the best graduate of the class of 2013. In 2018 she completed her studies in painting and graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Prof. Doberauer. Between 2016 and 2017 she studied with an Erasmus scholarship at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna with Prof. Henning Bohl.

Her works have been exhibited in Taiwan, South Africa, Spain, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria. In 2021 she received The Moth Art Prize, and in 2019 her work was awarded the special Fischer/Collegen Art Prize (Stuttgart, DE). In 2015 she received first prize at the 4th Edition Nazarte Award (Valencia, ES). She lives and works in Vienna.
